Here's a simple lanyard that's easy to make and is very strong.
Could be used for keys pass cards etc.
another simple knot is the twisted cobra which is quite stiff and makes a good fob for knives or keys. I use one now on my car keys and it makes them alot easier to get out of your pocket.

Nexus buckles
Just received some of the larger Nexus buckles and couldn't wait to make something....This is a four strand with king cobra stitch over it. These a very large and contain over twelve feet of paracord. like these buckles just wish they had the same curve that the other buckles have.
Trying some Fobs
Well Stormdrane you've hooked another one, his blog has so many different ideas and cool things I want to try them all! First started doing this to make myself a "survival bracelet" now I find myself researching ancient Maritime knots and lashings. Was I a pirate in another life or am I just drawn to the beauty and skill involved in this art form....Either way its been a way to relax and pass the time this winter and I've made a couple of dollars, at least enough to pay for my supplies so far. ARRRRR maytee's here's a couple of fobs I tried
The neon orange is a monkeys fist with snake stitch (paracord 550) the green and yellow is some nylon cord I found at Wallyworld...the centers are wooden beads from craft section of Wallyworld too. Need to find some steel ball bearings to make these into defensive weapons ;)

Hillbilly Golf
Here's a fun project to get rid of the winter time blues...It's called many names Hillbilly golf ,Ladder golf..etc. But regardless of what you call it you'll enjoy making and playing this tossing game. It only takes some PVC pipe and some old golf balls and your almost there. There are a lot of sites with plans and instructions out there. The one I used was here. You can Google "tossing games" for many more. Below is a picture of the set I made, personalized in "Mountaineer blue and gold". Have fun with your set and happy golfing !
New Style
Waiting on some larger buckles so I can start on some larger wraps. That means more paracord per bracelet. These will be heavier looking and wider than before, also experimenting with different ways to finish the ends. Pictured are two style the first is the regular cobra stitch the second is whats called the king cobra, actually its just another layer over the original wrap.
